Choosing the Wedding band

It is not too easy to choose your wedding band. You will be spoilt for choice. All couples want something unique as their wedding band.

Bands are simpler in design than wedding rings but you can customize them as per your choice. The first decision that you need to make before buying the band is what metal should it be made of? You can choose yellow gold, white gold, platinum or titanium. Each will cost different. Gold is the most popular choice. It is a soft metal. So there are chances of scratches and marks that can cause the gold to look dull. But the color of the material will not change. Platinum and titanium are stronger and thus the marks will not be visible to easily. But they are far more costlier than gold. If you can afford it, then that is the best choice. If you do not have such a huge budget but still want the platinum look, then you must opt for white gold. White gold is cheap but there are chances of it turning yellow with time. You can even engrave your initials on the band if you want to make it unique.

The sooner you create your wedding registry, the better it is for you. It makes it easier for your guests to plan on what they would like to give you. You must carefully choose your gifts.

The entire idea is that your gifts must be useful to you. You would need to take a stock of the things that you already have first. Only then, you must register. There is no point of getting something that you already have. Before choosing a store, you must research a lot. Find out which place has a good stock and which ones give you better deals. There is no hard and fast rule that you must have only one store. You can choose two or more if you find the stock good. Once you have decided on the store you need to ask them to assign an expert to help you register. Some stores allow you register yourself with the help of a handheld scanner. Make sure you have gifts with a wide pricing mix. Not everybody will be able to afford expensive gifts. Also you must check whether the guests will have to pay extra for shipping or not. Once you register yourself, you will need to let your guests know that. It may be a little embarrassing though. You can include the information in your invitations or even the bridal shower invitation.

Our wedding is a special occasion for us. We would want to design our invitations in a way that it stands out. We want it to be unique. You can include your wedding theme if you wish to. You can also play with the wordings. You can have funny quotes or flowery poetry inviting people to your special occasion.

If you are remarrying, then you can also have your children invite guests to the ceremony. You can have an assortment of ideas from where you can choose. The ceremony music is the music that is played during the ceremony it includes the prelude, processional, recessional and postlude.

Prelude music – It is played before the ceremony starts and while all the guests are comfortably seated.
Processional music – It is played just when the wedding party enters the place. Ceremony music – It is played when the ceremony takes place. Recessional music – It is played as and when the wedding party leaves the place. Postlude music – It is played when the guests start leaving the place. If nothing is mentioned, then it is better to call up and ask. You can hire a band or you can also consider a friend and relative to sing for you. The music you play for your wedding helps set the atmosphere for your wedding and thus, needs to be planned with care. You can hire a DJ directly. This way, you will be able to save some money. If you have higher budget, then you can hire the services of an entertainment agency.
