Planning That Epic Bachelorette Party

Fun Bachelorette Party Ideas on a Budget (Plus a $100 Giveaway) Step One: Decide Who is Planning it! Traditionally it is the maid of honor's duty to plan that epic girls night, but if your maid of honor is your 16 year old sister, you might decide to pass the torch on to an older one of your bridesmaid besties. If you are the maid of honor, however, don't automatically assume all control over the night. Check first with the bride if she wants any control, or if she wants to be completely surprised.  You will also want to include the other bridesmaids and perhaps even the brides sisters in the planning, so that everyone can join in on the excitement and fun.  Step Two: Who to Invite There are two rules of thought when deciding who to invite to your bachelorette party.  You can be socially-correct or venue-correct. For example, if you are going clubbing and to a bar, you don't want to invite your kid sister or wall flower cousin, but if you are going for a clean fun bowling night, then by all means, invite every girl that you love to be around. Some people would suggest that the bachelorette party is meant solely for the brides good (similar in age) girlfriends and if you are looking for a crazy or legend-wait-for-it-ary night, then this would be the route to go. Don'y feel like you are excluding anyone either. The low key girly fun is meant for the bridal shower and that is the perfect place for your aunts, sisters, and that lady who use to baby sit you. Step Three: Choose the Venue This is where you really want to pay attention to your bride and her comfort levels. The most killer bachelorette parties will make your bride blush, but won't make her feel uncomfortable. It is a night to let loose, but not end up arrested for lewd behavior. So if you have a bride that loves to go dancing and or bar hopping, then do that to the extreme. If you have a more conservative bride, then maybe get faux male strippers. Meaning, get a comedic male friend or friends(groom approved) that wear several layers of clothing and will stripping down no farther than a pair of swim trunks (if that). This is a playful way to bring in some of those cliche bachelorete activities, but not upset your bride.   Step Four: Accessorize the Crapola out of your bide and party.  Why? Because dressing up is way more fun than not! This is the only night that your bride will have to be out on the town showing off her soon to be status. By decking her out in bride-to-be accessories and apparel you are setting her up to get all the special treatment she deserves. It is a fun way to pamper your bride and put her in the lime light! The best part is, is there are sooooo many different options!  Bride Jacket Black - Med. 1) Start her off with a jacket or t-shirt that labels her as Bride or as Mrs. New-name.  Bride to Be TiaraBachelorrette with a tiara 2) Give her a Tiara! She gets to be the princess (or queen) for the night, so give her something sparkly to say it! Bridal Entourage Bachelorette Sash & Veil Set 3) Throw in a sash and veil. This is a great addition for a more diva bride marking her the winner of that bride pageant.

Bachelorette Party Buttons

If you're trying to accessorize a rockin' bachelorette party in the near future, don't forget about the bachelorette party buttons! Bachelorette party buttons are a cute way to match and accessorize during your bachelorette bash, but they won't clutter an outfit or attract any (unwanted) attention. Bachelorette party buttons usually express a lady's wedding party title, and the biggest button is usually saved for the bride herself. While they come in a variety of colors, the recommended color for a truly fabulous set of bachelorette party buttons is PINK! Have them ready for wear as the ladies arrive to your party, or send the appropriate set of bachelorette party buttons out with invites! It's a cute way to change up the standard bachelorette invitation. Not into showing off your bridal status on your night out with the girls? Bachelorette party buttons are also great for wear during the rehearsal dinner or as ID buttons during a particularly crowded bridal shower. Indulge and Delight with Bachelorette Party Shot Glasses

Bachelorette Party Shot Glasses Keep the Party Going

Bachelorette Party Shot Glasses

Every good bachelorette party includes a little alcoholic indulgence – it’s part of the tradition of the night. Bachelorette party shot glasses add to that feel not only by providing the receptacle for your libations, but also allowing you to send your maids (and other happy-go-lucky party-goers) little gifts to remind them of the fun that was had.   Bachelorette party shot glasses are always good for at least one thing: drinking. You might find that regular glasses don’t do the trick on your night of indulgence and frolic – bachelorette party shot glasses add the right amount of spunk and color that makes any night of (responsible) debauchery that much more entertaining. Bachelorette party shot glasses (especially the personalized ones) make it a party, not just a binge. Theme them for your party needs – thinking about playing pub golf on your big night? There are bachelorette party shot glasses for you! Take your bachelorette party shot glasses out with you bar hopping and keep an eye on your drinks (and designate exactly WHO is with the bridal entourage) all night.   Bachelorette party glasses also make great gifts. Remind the girls just how fun your party was months and years down the line – when they’re still pulling out your bachelorette party shot glasses to have their own nights of Dionysus-inspired merriment. Bachelorette party shot glasses always fit the bill!

The Many Shapes of Wedding Confetti

Wedding Confetti Ideas

Wedding Confetti

Decorating a blank event space on your own is often pretty scary at first. Trying to find pieces of decorative filler that don’t LOOK like filler is close to impossible for the novice designer, and trying to find emphatic pieces that don’t break the bank is even harder. With wedding confetti, however, a first-time party planner (or an expert who knows the benefit of a full, colorful party space) will find that there’s no better companion. Wedding confetti doesn’t have to be the strips of paper from birthdays past. Wedding confetti comes in all shapes and sizes and has more uses than you could imagine.   Consider diamond wedding confetti – pieces of molded acrylic that exude elegance, color, and style. The “diamonds” come in all shades and they add a great contrasting element to centerpieces and otherwise blank table tops. This wedding confetti make a space feel coherent without overpowering the more important pieces of the table and/or event.   Traditional wedding confetti is also great for decorating within an otherwise blank space, but don’t feel limited when it comes to shapes. Girlier events (such as bridal showers) will benefit from some pink butterfly wedding confetti, while mismatched circular black ring wedding confetti adds a posh feeling to your uptown space.   Also, feel free to toss some good old fashioned multicolored wedding confetti at the bride and groom as they make their entrance!
