As you go about your wedding day shopping you may be finding that wedding shops have tight return policies. It may be frustrating, but for wedding stores to stay open and provide you with all the wonderful wedding accessories and needs, it is a necessity. Avoid the Returns Headache When you make a purchase on Weddingcollectibles.com - or any wedding accessory store - be sure to read through the return policy. Return policies may vary, but in the wedding industry, you can expect a few consistencies.

• Wedding Date is Too Late. Most places, including Wedding Collectibles, will not allow returns past your wedding date. Doing so is like encouraging shoppers to keep the tags on their dresses and return them after they have used them.
• Quick Turn Around. Along side not allowing returns after the wedding date, a lot of shops will have a small window for you to initiate your return. Wedding Collectibles allows returns within 5 days of receipt. So once you receive your product, open it, inspect it, and either keep it or return it.
• Personalized Items are Non-refundable/returnable. If you have put your initials or name on your product, it cannot be resold, so it cannot be returned. However, a lot of shops - not just wedding, but any store with personalized items - returns are allowed if there is an error that the store made. It wouldn't exactly be fair for us to mess up your order and not fix it, just as it is not fair for us to take responsibility for any typos entered by the customer. Always review, triple check, any personalization.
